Part 3, Chapter 36 Summary
Part 3, Chapter 36 - Graduation rolls around. Mr. Moats compliments Blue's drawing, and tells her to keep up with art. Blue has been covering for her father's disappearance, telling people he is suffering from cancer. Blue is Valedictorian. She gives a speech about looking forward and goldfish being able to live freely in the present, because they can only remember the last three seconds of memory. Zach meets up with Blue later, and tells her he loved her speech. He shields her with his umbrella. Blue says she'll be going away for the summer, by herself, perhaps to visit her grandparents.
Part 3, Chapter 36 Analysis
