Herman Bunning

Herman Bunning is the main antagonist in “Homecoming.” He is a wealthy man who is in danger of losing some of his fortune because of a competing business. Herman also fears he will have to spend some of the money he saved for retirement on his granddaughters when they come to live with him after their mother’s death.

When Herman learns Mack is back in town, he hires an expensive lawyer to get Mack charged with some crime. He reasons that if Mack has money that he needs to be spending that money on his daughters.
