Summary
In Chapter 22, Mack had expected Margot to hug him and accept his apology. Instead, she called him Mack and demanded to know why he was back. She informed him that he did not have the right to call himself her father.
Mack told Margot that leaving had made a mistake. He apologized. He explained he came back because he heard Lisa was sick and was worried about Margot and her sister, Helen.
