Blood of the Beast, The White Race and Its Heroes Summary and Analysis
Cleaver begins the chapter by explaining that he is not, nor has he ever been, white. He then says that he's also not a black Muslim, though he once held that claim. He says that he is an "Ofay Watcher." This is one of the many references Clever makes to a literary work of the day and that he likely expects the reader to simply understand.
