Iris's School

Iris's school is mostly a place where Iris feels herself incapable of being understood. The chaos of settings like the lunchroom leaves her in a difficult place when it comes to communicating with her classmates. A lot of the teachers do not really seem to know how to handle having a Deaf student in their classes, and she is subjected to various microaggressions at basically all times. Some of the kids try to learn sign language to communicate with her, but Iris becomes frustrated with their pushiness in trying to talk to her when their signing leaves a lot to be desired.
