Book III Chapters 3 and 4 Summary
Nathaniel, Gabe's best friend, tries to get Gabe to go fishing with him and their other friends. Gabe says he can't because he has to work on his boat. Gabe shows Nathaniel the picture of the boat in a book that he's using as a guide to build his own boat. Nathaniel says his sister, Deidre, misses Gabe. Gabe says he'll see her at the feast.
The village where Jonas and Gabe live is full of people who once came from other places. Part of the history museum is the story of Jonas, a young boy who saved a sick baby, and then became leader of their town. Another portion of the town history is when Trademaster deceived some of the villagers, such as Jonas.
