Wee'git
Wee'git is a symbol of the forces of malevolence in the universe. From the beginning of the novel, he is a figure to be feared and avoided, and when Anita Moody thinks Jared has the blood of Wee'git in him, she loudly chastises him and stays far away from him. These fears all turn out to be founded when Wee'git kidnaps Jared, cuts off one of his toes, and tries to convert him to the spirit realm.
Jwa'sins
Jwa'sins is a symbol of the forces of benevolence in the universe. She stands in complete opposition to Wee'git. She is Wee'git's sister, but she only ever appears to Jared when he needs help to try to offer him assistance, first when he is hitchhiking home from the basketball tournament away from Dylan and later when he has sunk into a deep depression after Sarah leaves.
