Chapter 27 Summary
The following morning, Alexandra goes into the study where Jordan spent most of his childhood. Jordan was in his study and wanted desperately to spend time with Alexandra. He wasn't his usual sharp self, and when he kept making mistakes in a letter he was having written, he dismissed the scribe and told his assistant to postpone any other work for the day because he was going to have a picnic with his wife.
Alexandra was out giving one of her lessons to the local children and he went to pay her a visit. While they headed back to the house, he notices the flowers for the first time in his life.
