Chapter 18 Summary

The duchess sees that Alexandra had become a prize to be won, and this worries her. The entire situation is complicated because she is so young but has already been married. If Jordan were still alive, then nobody would care that she was a little off, and if she were older, Society wouldn't expect her to live by the same rules as the younger girls.
