Summary
In Chapter 5, Patrick, the Arm, and Horseshoe visit "the WAT-R Super-Center on Sunset" to pick up WAT-R for Brenda (122). The space feels "like a false memory" and disorients Patrick (123). While they wait for the workers to handle their order, Patrick sees one of the many visitors faint. Watching her disturbs him.
When they return to the studio, Cassidy is irritated by Patrick's tardiness. As they load her water into the van, her frustration lessens. She has not had a good day. Everything about the production feels wrong to her, but when she mentioned these concerns to Jay, he dismissed her. She relays these things to Patrick in the car.
