Chapters 19-21 Summary

Hannah tells her mom that she decided to go to New York to visit Jackson and is shocked by her mom's lack of response, as Chapter 19 opens Hannah asks her mom why she cared so much when the tickets came but not now and her mom says that she wasn't upset about the tickets and that Hannah is old enough to make her own choices. Hannah says that they can talk about Jose but her mom cuts her off and returns to work. Then Hannah gets a phone call from Teagan, who is crying. Teagan's parents told her she can go back to New York now because her mom is recovered. Hannah asks why this is not good news and Teagan reveals that she flunked out of school. When Hannah tries to encourage her to apply to other schools, Teagan says...
