Chapters 10-12 Summary

When Hannah arrives at school, in Chapter 10, she notices that something is different because everyone is looking at her. After proceeding to gym class, where she accidentally offends an acquaintance about wearing a chastity ring, Hannah finds out from her classmate, Brent, that Jackson advertised her trip to visit him in New York on the most recent promo for his show. Feeling provoked by Brent's jokes, she twists his thumbs backwards, causing him and his friends to shout vulgarities at her. As Brent walked away down the hall, Hannah notices that Finn somehow knocked Brent hard into a locker. At that moment, Josh begins talking to Hannah about the incident and Hannah is shocked and excited, as he has never talked to her at school before. Josh makes a joke about Finn and asks if Brent did anything to hurt her...
