Chapters 11-17 Summary

In Chapter 11, after the kite festival, Lani and Jason sit together for lunch. It's not going over well with their friends. Bianca this seems particularly annoyed about it. Lani can't wait until the next year when they're going to be allowed to leave the campus for lunch.

Jason asks Lani if she likes codes. She loves them, and tells him so. They write in code to each other. Lani loves the intensity Jason demonstrates. She particularly loves the fact that when he is serious, his eyes change color.

In Chapter 12, it's Lani's birthday, and she thinks about how cool astrology is. Her birth chart and moon sign show how everything is connected.
