Two Years Later (Chapter 33) Summary

Darcy and Ethan get married in Holland Park on a beautiful summer day. Darcy sneaks a peek at Ethan as the string quartet begins to play and is overcome with emotion. Deciding to take the path alone, Darcy takes a deep breath and takes her private walk towards her future husband.

Darcy takes in the faces of her friends and family as she walks down the aisle. When her eyes rest on Rachel, Dex, and their baby daughter, Darcy smiles at Rachel and raises her bouquet to show that a ribbon of blue silk taken from the babies' blankets are wrapped around her lilies.

After the ceremony, Darcy reflects to the day Ethan proposed. On that fall day, Ethan surprises Darcy with the note she wrote to him in fifth grade asking him to be her boyfriend...
