Chapter 17 Summary
After a few days of listening to empowering music and trying to figure out her next step, Darcy receives a call from Annalise, a close friend from childhood still living in Indianapolis. After discussing Darcy's situation, Annalise suggests Darcy return to her parents. Darcy explains that Indianapolis is the opposite of what she needs, adding she is not speaking to her mother. After further discussion about what Darcy needs, Annalise suggests Darcy stay with another old friend, Ethan, who lives in London. Immediately, Darcy sees it as her best option.
