Chapter 7 Summary

It is a week before Darcy's wedding, and she is at Marcus' apartment taking a pregnancy test. When she informs Marcus the test is positive, instead of expressing the elated response Darcy is looking for, Marcus is worried and confused. His disappointment is compounded when he sees that she has used his favorite Broncos cup to pee in. Marcus presses that Darcy should explore her options and even suggests she see a therapist. Darcy insists she is happy to be having a baby with him although she admits to herself she has never thought of having a baby. Darcy tells him she has no issues, she loves him, is keeping the baby, and canceling the wedding.

Darcy leaves Marcus' apartment determined to break-up with Dex. Although Darcy initiates the conversation, it is Dex who deals the breakup blow by saying he doesn't think...
