Chapter 6 Summary

Marcus stops resisting Darcy. Although he doesn't initiate contact, whenever Darcy calls him, he is available for her. Darcy still doesn't understand why he won't ask her to call off her wedding. Darcy comforts herself by saying Dex is a better prospect for marriage. When Darcy leaves her engagement ring at Marcus' apartment, she begins to wonder if she should marry Dex. To spare Rachel's feelings, Darcy tells her she slept with a man from work once. Rachel comforts Darcy by saying she is suffering cold feet and assures her Dex is the right man for her.
