The Bentley Hotel
The Bentley Hotel in London provides the setting for many major events in the novel. The Bentley houses Nisha’s former penthouse suite, which is the home of her husband, Carl, and her expensive, designer wardrobe. Nisha accidentally gains employment as an undocumented worker at the hotel when she begins cleaning rooms with Jasmine, who is integral to the story and to Nisha’s character development.
