Summary
Rutherford urges Blade to read the letter Sunny intended to give him on his 18th birthday and reassures Blade that he will always be a Morrison. When Rutherford offers Blade anything to prove that he is committed to overcoming his addiction and mending their broken family, Blade asks him to buy a communal washing machine for Konko. While Rutherford teaches Sia the words to “Stairway to Heaven” that evening, she vomits suddenly. Joy unconvincingly reassures Rutherford that Sia will recover before putting her to bed. The night before Blade ventures out on his excursion to finally meet Lucy, Rutherford decides that he, his crew, and Joy will partake in the journey.
