Summary
After encountering paparazzi asking about his adoption, Blade retreats to the Morrison mansion and hides in his room. Blade refuses to emerge for several days, even when Storm implores him to eat and talk to her. During this period of isolation, Blade struggles to fend off destructive thoughts about his biological parents and their ability to abandon him. He attempts to distract himself and fill the void within by writing music. On the fifth day, Rutherford presents Blade with an envelope containing a letter from Sunny and a note with the name of his biological mother, Lucy November. Motivated to find Lucy, Blade finally eats, bathes, and leaves his room in search of her.
