Summary

In Chapter One, Tori goes to school and does not talk to anyone. She looks for Lucas because she wants to apologize to him, but she cannot find him. She learns that Ben is okay and did not even have to go to the hospital. After English class, Mr. Kent holds Tori back and speaks to her about her essay on Pride and Prejudice, which she wrote about Mr. Darcy, who she thinks is the only good character in the book. Mr. Kent asks Tori why she is underachieving, and she admits she does not like school anymore.

In Chapter Two, the prankster stink-bombs the hallway. Tori finds Lucas talking to Evelyn, who he is always with. She asks him why he is avoiding her and if Evelyn is his girlfriend. Lucas says that Evelyn is not his girlfriend. Tori says Lucas...
