Summary

In Chapter Eight, the Head Girl, Zelda, tells Tori the teachers have nominated her to be a part of the helping team who will start looking for the prankster Tuesday morning with the prefects. Tori is annoyed by this, but agrees. Becky starts flirting with Ben. When Tori asks her what happened to Jack, Becky gets annoyed that Tori is only just now asking since they broke up days ago.

In Chapter Nine, Tori gets to school early and helps the prefects monitor the school. She is assigned the IT suites, so she goes into the computer labs to check them. When she sits down in C14, someone locks her inside and a message from “Solitaire” comes on the big screen promising not to harm anyone, and then a violin video plays.
