Part Three, Zero Point: Chapter Ten Summary

In this chapter, Joe meets Barbara Christman. They drive around and talk about the investigation. Joe explains how he has not read any of the reports concerning the accident because it would be too painful. There is a lot of incredulity on the part of Barbara as Joe tells her about Rose. In an effort to convince him of the impossibility of that happening Barbara takes Joe to the exact site of the crash. Upon arrival they have to make a bit of a walk. The entire time that they are at the site they discuss the investigation from Barbara's professional point of view.
