Chapter 19-21 Summary and Analysis

Summary: In the final section of this book, Social Consequence, Goleman recounts the material he has covered up til now, and also builds upon it to reach his final conclusion. This conclusion is not necessarily anything a alert reader would not have seen coming, but it does help back up the points he has made throughout the book.

Most of what is discussed in this section is how to make people more aware of the importance of social intelligence and how we can better integrate this idea into our society. Goleman casts his highly-observant eye towards education, and looks at how teacher's who have an understanding of the importance of social intelligence are making their classroom's more accessible for their students.
