Chapter 57 Summary

Hiro tells the men that Lagos had figured these details out and had gone to Rife to try to sell this information. Lagos figured that Rife could use the virus to control the information that his workers were exposed to. But Rife took the idea and developed it to the point that his church was creating thousands of missionaries to spread the Word throughout the world. Rife created two different delivery methods. The first was vaccinations. His missionaries visited countries all over the world and inoculated people against common diseases, but also introduced the Asherah virus. Back in America, he incorporated the virus into a drug called Snow Crash.
