Chapter 28 Summary
Hiro follows The Librarian into the new room, which is filled with hypercards, and there are three large items representing ancient artifacts. One is a clay slab that is covered in cuneiform writing. The second item is a wooden pole with branches that make it look like a tree. The third items is an obelisk covered in cuneiform writing and a bas relief image of two figures. The Librarian explains to Hiro that there are roughly four categories of information in the room: Biblical, Sumerian, neuro-linguistics, and intelligence on L. Bob Rife. The Librarian tells Hiro that the Sumerians wrote their data on clay tablets. Hiro looks at the image of the clay envelope and asks the Librarian if the cuneiform has been translated.
