Chapter 24 Summary

A helicopter approaches the U-Store-It, and lands in the parking lot in front of Hiro's storage unit. An athletic looking man jumps out and approaches Hiro. His name tag says Clem. Major Clem tells Hiro that Juanita sent him to pick up Hiro. The helicopter takes off, and they head to the Hollywood Hills. They land on the roof of the hospital, and Major Clem tells Hiro where to go. When Hiro arrives at the specified room, he sees Da5id laying in the bed The surgeon tells Hiro that they had to give Da5id a temporary pacemaker because he has cardiac arrhythmia. Hiro asks the surgeon if Da5id was goggled in when this happened, but the surgeon doesn't know. As Hiro turns to leave, Da5id looks at Hiro and starts to babble in a constant flow of syllables.
