Chapter 16 Summary

After Araceli departs, Zane wonders if Rei force changes into Sebastian to save his life or to escape from living on the island. Sebastian is in the last of Danica's childhood memories and she has always wondered how Rei and she were able to survive the brutal attack they endured. Zane and Nacola run to Danica's side.

Danica is acting very calm and matter of fact. Nacola says Danica hasn't acted this way since she lost her Alistair; the only one that had been able to help her was Andreois and now he's gone. Two of the Royal Flight guards come to tell them that Kel had gone after Araceli and her group and that they've captured Kel and taken her with them.

Danica goes into solitude with her mother as company. Gerard takes over interviewing for new Royal Flight members to replace...
