Summary
Two detectives, Michael Coyne and Vince Pritchard, come to Mary Pat’s house to ask her about Jules. Pritchard is standoffish and accusatory, but Coyne bonds with Mary Pat when she reveals that her son died of an overdose. Mary Pat gives him the information she has about Jules’ whereabouts. Coyne asks her to call if she hears anything before he and his partner leave.
Mary Pat wakes up in the middle of the night and decides to walk to the Fields. She pounds on the door until a bolt is thrown and she is let inside. She walks to the back of the building and sits down across from Brian, who is furious that Mary Pat went to his house and insulted his wife. Mary Pat demands to know more about Jules’ relationship with Frank Toomey and whether Brian knows her whereabouts...
