Summary
In "Small Nation," Lisa moved in with her father. She and her mother agreed to Steve’s conditions that they not talk. One night, Lisa ran to her room after she broke a glass at dinner. Steve apologized for not being around when she was young. He asked her if she wanted to change her last name to Jobs. She decided that she would like to combine her mother and father’s last names with a hyphen. A lawyer visited the house so that Lisa could sign the official certificate. Steve offered to frame it, but Laurene insisted that it would be strange to display the certificate. Lisa asked her father whether he had named the Lisa computer after her and he said no.
Lisa focused on college admissions by getting involved in a lot of after-school activities. She became the assistant stage...
