Summary

The second half of Part Three begins with Cammie calling Blur once he leaves her apartment. She was aware that she needed to flee and tells Blur she is monitoring his movements. She does not trust him enough to tell him where she is or where she is heading, though. Blur finds that “some part of my brain is still stuck on the notion that we might have a relationship that will last over time” (156). Cammie tells him she knows of Patches, whose real name is Porter St. Germaine; he circuitously knows her adoptive parents. Cammie begins to tell Blur about her childhood.
