Summary
In Chapter 10, the hospital parking lots were full so Frank parked in the grass. The lobby of the urgent care as well as the main lobby was packed. A man yelled out above the crowd that there was no vaccine or antidote for the Aurora Flu. Violence broke out at the women’s center. Elaine and Frank took Nana back to their vehicle to escape the melee.
Meanwhile, Clint finally got in touch with Jared on their home phone and was assured that his son was unhurt other than a twisted knee. He warned Jared to keep the doors locked and stay inside.
At the prison, Janice had decided that Ree’s story was legitimate. She asked Clint if he could be in the room with her when she fired Don.
