The Harkonnens' Home
The Harkonnens' home is located at 3300 Cedar Ridge Parkway. Trish refers to the home most often by its address, thus illustrating her attempt to define the space factually instead of emotionally. Over the course of the novella, Trish spends many nights parked outside the home in her sleep van, drawing sleep donations from Baby A. At times Trish engages in emotional or fraught conversations with Mr. and Mrs. Harkonnen on their property. The address, and the house, take on new connotations at the end of the novella. Trish arrives at the house as a friend, rather than as a representative of the Corps. Justine welcomes her inside, ready to hear Trish's story. The image of the family inside the house makes Trish think about her sister and reflect on her relationships and desires.
