Summary
In "Our Universal Donor," when the Slumber Corps first drew Baby A's sleep, she was just over six months old. At that juncture, they had not known her sleep would be so special (28). After sending her sleep to the lab, they discovered that Baby A "is a universal donor" (28). Ever since, the Corps has been drawing her sleep regularly, and Baby A's donations have been saving hundreds of lives.
Tonight the Sleep Van is parked back outside the Harkonnens. Outside the house, Trish talks to Felix, reminding him of Dori's story. Felix agrees not to stop Baby A's donations.
Everyone in the van is pleased with Trish's work. Though Trish is happy that Baby A's sleep is helpful to others, she knows that "Baby A's life would have been far better off" if Trish had "never found her" (34).
