Music
Throughout the play, music functions as an expression of the connection between the black characters - Kaneisha, Phillip, and Gary - and their OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Part of their intention with participating in the therapy prescribed for them by Teá and Patricia is to help them redefine their relationship with music, and therefore with their OCD.
