Summary

In response to Teá and Patricia reading back the transcripts of what was said in the first round of conversation, Alana comments that “the words that seemed the most at the forefront / of the discourse were those of the / white men in the room” (92). At that Dustin erupts in anger, saying that he is not white, and that he has made that clear from the first day.
