Chapters 4 to 6 Summary
Mike Stranahan goes to the State Attorney's office and uses his old badge to get the file on the disappearance of Victoria Barletta. He reviews the file and remembers the details; he and Gavigan had interviewed everyone but had never come up with any leads. The young assistant attorney tells him that the file is so immediately available because it will be used in a segment of the Reynaldo Flemm T.V. show "In Your Face."
Later in the day, Mike Stranahan again notices the cabin cruiser moored near his stilt house. Again they are video taping. He goes out to the cabin cruiser, armed with his favorite weapon, a stainless-steel tarpon gaff. On board he finds Reynaldo Flemm, Christina Marks, the producer, and the cameraman.
