Chapters 22 through 25 Summary

In chapter twenty-two, Jordan wakes with a horrible hangover. She can't decide where she is initially but soon finds Reece who says Jordan is at her apartment. Reece recounts the evening for Jordan, teasing her a little by expanding on what really happened. Reece is indignant when Jordan asks if they had sex, saying she wouldn't take advantage of someone who is drunk. Jordan points out it was obvious to Reece she was becoming drunk and asks why Reece didn't stop her. Reece says she thought perhaps Jordan needed to let loose.

In chapter twenty-three, Jordan continues her research and discovers Reece's scar is not the result of an accident. She has discovered police records about the disturbance. Pella had gone into a rage, picked up a knife, and brutally attacked Reece. Jordan is now in a quandary, unsure what she...
