Chapters 13 through 15 Summary
In chapter thirteen, Jordan telephones Reece and asks to borrow videotapes of Reece's televised news reports. Reece arrives the following afternoon. She discovers Jordan's car is in the shop and offers to give her a ride home. They decide to go for dinner first and Reece takes Jordan to a seafood place, Harry's Crab Shack. It's very casual and Jordan enjoys both the food and the atmosphere. She says she'll have to come back again and Reece says she'll bring Jordan again. Reece then says the next time, they'll have oysters on the half shell, referring to the fact they are an aphrodisiac. The sexual tension rages and they leave, catching the ferry for the city.
