Fanaticism vs Activists
Juan Cabrillo formed the Corporation with the knowledge of the new threats that the world faced today. While in the beginning days of activists, those involved would lead peaceful protests, chain themselves to vehicles or buildings to get attention, religion spawned a different kind of activist that rapidly became a fanatic. Of course, religion always had a leading edge on fanaticism, but the devout were not alone. Racial fanatics like those involved in the KKK or the Nazi movement were a prime example of the beginning of a new age of fanatic. The days when protests were done with voice and placard were coming to a swift and unfortunately violent end. Knowing all of this, Juan began the Corporation, and construction of the Oregon to sail into the very divide created.
