Ilmarsh is the name of the village where most of the action takes place. Ilmarsh is a village that was founded by exiles. It is located in a marshy area near the sea. The area became more populous when the fishing industry was booming. The area became popular when oil was found in the sea. It turned into a vacation spot. Since that time, the village has lessened in popularity. Few people visit it any longer leaving the hotels and businesses derelict and falling apart.
