Summary

In Chapter 1, set one year later, Cooper was back with her therapist. Cooper shared with her therapist that Simon pretended to be Grace. Before him, Rebecca had used her social media.

In Chapter 2, Cooper pointed out that Simon was not a child. He was a man. Simon and Rebecca thought they loved each other. It had been the start of everything.

With Simon’s encouragement, Rebecca started giving her mother more and more of her medication. They intended to make Grace weak enough that she would leave Rebecca alone.

Additionally, Simon had looked at the files that his father brought home from work even though Alec did not think that his son paid any attention to them. It was how Simon learned about what had happened on the island.
