Summary

Chapter 19: Matthias begins as Nina arrives to change Matthias’ appearance and unshackle him. He is against this but knows he cannot argue with Kaz. He asks what she is going to do about Yul-Bayur as he knows she will not let Kaz hand him over, and Nina leaves.

The crew arrives and climbs a small cliff. Everyone left behind their prized possessions and Matthias remembers hunting with his father. On the second day, Kaz begins hashing out his plan. He says they will be captured then have around six hours to find Yul-Bayur. Inside, Jesper, Nina, and Matthias will search on the top floor as Inej climbs the incinerator.
