Summary

Kate recalls how she and Jeremy first met and how he'd invited her out for the first time. She was still seeing David at the time, and handled her break up with him badly. She remembers her first date with Jeremy, and how at the time she had considered stopping their relationship before it even got started, presuming that like her other boyfriends, he had had a charmed childhood, but she changed her mind and decided to accept his invitation for a drink. They talked and she learned that his past was as confusing and traumatizing as hers was. She realized then that he was perfect for her, and ended up in bed with him afterward.
