Summary

In this flashback to earlier years, Daisy describes her high school graduation, and how her boyfriend's parents snubbed her and her family. She recalls how she and Tom had argued, and how she'd walked out on her own graduation ceremony after Tom's parent's refused to be introduced to her family. Daisy saw this as a snub and told Tom that he was a wimp and walked away from the graduation party.

Later, she settled into Mississippi University or ‘Mizzou’ as it was known by those who attended, calling herself "Kate" and in a manner completely unlike the Daisy she once was, joined a sorority and became a Theta sister. There, she met and began dating Ben. Kate was just beginning to make friends when Violet showed up claiming to be taking a self-imposed hiatus from Reed. Kate took her out for pizza where Violet...
