Summary

When Violet calls Daisy, she says nothing about their argument over lunch, having allowed a day or two to pass and tempers to cool. Instead, Daisy's first remark concerns the fact that Courtney is pregnant. Daisy tells her that they haven’t gone public with the information yet, and asks her if she is sure a large earthquake is coming. Violet assures her she is, but has no idea when. She asks Violet if she will call and give them any warning she can so that they can get the kids somewhere safe and Violet assures her she will. Daisy makes suggestions as to Violet’s wardrobe for her date.

Later Daisy and Jeremy talk about Violet and Courtney’s interview on television, and she can’t help but ask him if he is embarrassed to be married to someone related to the psychic...
