Summary
Daisy and Violet’s mother had no idea she was carrying twins until the day that she delivered them. She was 37 weeks along, and had gained 70 pounds. Her obstetrician ordered the x-ray that revealed the twins and after breaking the news to her, their father was called and her water was broken. A problem with the epidural left their mother with numbness on only one side of her body, and unable to give her more, she had to endure the delivery. After it was over, she swore she would never have another child. It took five days before Daisy was finally named.
