Summary
Chapter 25 continues as Tamsin and Emrys reach a storage room. Emrys says the cloaked figure came here, but only moved things around. As Tamsin grabs Ignatius, she wonders why the curse only started two years ago. Both wonder why someone would release it and Tamsin points out the Children are strongly coordinated. She lights Ignatius, but does not find anything hidden. Eventually, Emrys asks why Tamsin always assumes the worst and pushes people away. She feels immense shame, but the two argue about his rich privilege as Tamsin feels he has everything. Emrys says she can be whatever she wants and the two agree on a truce.
As the two clean up and debate on items to take, they find a broken statue of Lord Death. Tamsin sees a strange mark on the statue's head and feels she should remember what...
