Sia Holloway
Sia is a seventeen-year-old girl who loses her memory in what doctors determine is a fugue-like amnesia. She wakes on a park bench with no memories of her life prior to that moment. While her first instinct is to seek the help of a policeman, she hesitates. Though she can't figure out why, Sia fears the possibility of returning home. Her designer clothes and the iPod she carries are the only clues to her identity. She knows from the play list that her name is Sia and her clothes indicate that she’s wealthy. Still, Sia believes on some level that she doesn’t want to return home.
She is repulsed by some aspects of life on the streets but quickly befriends a woman named Carol who helps Sia learn to adjust. Carol offers wisdom and comfort, a friendship Sia desperately needs though she doesn’t yet...
