Summary

In B, Beth describes being hurt that her children did not appear to be sad when she and Henry left them with their grandparents to attend Lee’s wedding. She wants to feel like they would miss her even though she is looking forward to seeing the landmarks of New York she had never seen before. She wonders how people living in a big city could grow accustomed to the buildings which surrounded them when she is still amazed by the buildings around her in Little Wing.
